If you are nominated for Best Musical, Best Leading Actor, or Best Leading Actress, you will be performing at the Awards ceremony. We will arrange for the orchestral scores to be redistributed to the school free of charge (no additional rental fee), but the school must submit the scores to the SLHSMTA and return the score to the licensing house after the awards ceremony.

Each participating school will select two students (one male, one female) to participate in the Opening and Closing numbers. These production numbers will be fully choreographed and will require rehearsals in the week preceding the Awards ceremony. The exact dates and times of the rehearsals will be announced at the Participating School Orientation in August. Participants in this aspect of the event cannot be among the nominees for Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Supporting Actor, or Best Supporting Actress. This is a wonderful opportunity for these students to interact and perform with other students who love musical theatre.

Teachers are encouraged to nominate students to be crew members for the Awards ceremony. These students will work side by side with professional stage hands and stage managers, offering them a chance to network and to learn new skills as they navigate the backstage world of The Fabulous Fox Theatre.

Information about scholarships and cash awards will be available as we draw closer to the date of the event. Check back regularly for updates.
